Columbus Metropolitan Library Mobile App

The Columbus Metropolitan Library Mobile App makes it easy to find and reserve books. I was really glad that I had my smartphone with me last week when I was roaming the book stacks at Main Library. A customer asked me if we had any books available on using Google+ for small businesses. My search for the keywords Google Business, retrieved the Chris Brogan title Google+ For Business: How Google’s Social Network Changes Everything. My customer was pleased to find that we had a copy of the book available to check out.

We have now added your library barcode to the CML Mobile app! Customers who log into My Account within the app will see the following:If you choose "show card for scanning" option, the app will display a barcode which can be scanned using the smartphone friendly scanner at all CML locations. I think this enhancement makes a great app even more useful!
