Columbus has shot up in an annual ranking of cities’ economic and job growth, thanks in part to a strong showing by its technology sector.
The metropolitan area was ranked No. 55 in the California-based Milken Institute’s ranking of the 200 best-performing large cities in the U.S., up 53 spots from 108 a year ago. The jump was among the 15 largest in the nation.
