I came across an interesting article on six questions that entrepreneurs seldom fully address in their pitches to VCs -- to their peril. (This probably applies to presentations before angel groups as well.)

Ford Motor Co. to enter healthcare market

No, this isn't a typo, a late April fool's joke, or an episode of Punk'd!    Read all about how Ford proposes using their Sync connectivity to manage vital data.  Makes sense, doesn't it?  Oil pressure - blood pressure?  Fuel mixture - blood glucose?  All signals that can be measured, displayed, and stored.   Pretty cool!

Tips for Selling Medical Devices in Europe

I came across an article that provide tips on selling medical devices in Europe.  This is particularly relevant as many start-ups increasingly view the European regulatory approval process as more efficient and predictable than dealing with the FDA and thus, in many cases, a good first step in building clinical data to support a U.S. submission.  See at… Continue

Streamline Your Agency’s Budget by Using Technology and Investing in Your Employees

As we begin to crawl out of the recession, we are able to look back on the ways in which businesses either thrived or died during that time. Without question, the biggest mistake I saw businesses make was “saving themselves into bankruptcy.” They didn’t invest in the right tools. Their employees then had to work on things that a robot should do. That means employees were pulled away from high-value work, clients were unhappy and things fell apart. I can think of half a dozen companies in…
